Whey Protein Isolate – 90% Clean!!
Whey Protein Powder Isolate 90% – CLEAN
KEY FEATURES
- Rich source of protein*
- Minimal amounts of fat & lactose*
- Extensive amino acid profile*
Whey is a substance produced during cheese production. It is the liquid content that remains after the milk has curdled and coagulated. It contains lactalbumin and 5% lactose that has been diluted in water. Whey can be processed and isolated into three different types of protein: whey protein isolate, whey protein concentrate and whey protein hydrolysate. Whey Isolate is the purest form, where the water, fats and lactose content have been removed. It contains a larger amount of pure protein than concentrate and hydrolysate.
DIRECTIONS
Serving Size & Timing

INGREDIENTS & FURTHER INFORMATION
CONCENTRATION OF WHEY ISOLATE
Cow’s milk is 20% Whey Protein and 80% Casein protein. Whey Protein Isolate contains immunoglobulins, 65% Beta-lactoglobulins, 25% Alpha-lactalbumin and 8% Bovine serum Albumin. These substances are soluble in water regardless of their pH level. Because this whey is not sourced from an animal-based rennet, It is lacto-ovo vegetarian friendly.
WHEY ISOLATE SIDE EFFECTS
Whey Protein Isolate has no reported serious side effects when used correctly. Taking this supplement beyond its recommended dose, however, can cause headache, nausea, stomach cramps, bloating, diarrhea, fatigue and reduced appetite. Proteins not properly digested and left to ferment in the colon can cause flatulence and can produce unsaturated fatty acids.
TIPS
In a study conducted on the relationship of temperature and pH level with the solubility of Whey Protein, it was discovered that at pH level of 4.5, the ability of Whey Protein to dissolve in liquid decreases as temperature goes up, which means that denaturation of proteins does occur in this condition.

This is by far the best protein powder out there. Dissolves very quickly and the taste is very neutral for being unflavored. Will continue to purchase.*

Whey protein is THE staple behind any non-vegan weightlifter/bodybuilder’s program. You just aren’t going hit your protein requirements without a protein supplement unless you’re committed to eating 2-3 pounds of meat everyday and basically feeling full/stuffed most of the day. A 1/3 cup scoop of a high quality whey isolate will get you about 25 grams of protein. Here’s where the type of whey comes into play. There’s whey, and then there’s whey isolate like from bulksupplements. Regular whey protein is generally around 50-60% protein by weight, because of the fillers. Whey isolate is usually 85-90% protein by weight. It costs a little more per pound but when you work the math it about evens out.
Because this is unflavored, the only ingredients are whey protein and soy lecithin (to prevent clumping). Soy lecithin is nothing to worry about if you’re a purist, because it contains compounds which stimulate muscle synthesis (read about mTOR and phosphatidic acid) but the amount in whey isolate is negligible regardless. It basically tastes like skim milk with a thicker mouthfeel. No problems drinking unless you hate milk.
And I buy my whey protein in 10lb bags, so I’m always looking for the best value. I used to buy NOW whey isolate but it’s gone up in price. Search begins, I found bulksupplements, search ended. It’s about 10% cheaper per pound shipped than the best price I could find for NOW. They also carry a lot of the supplements I use in pure form, so I think in the future I’ll be taking advantage of that free shipping for orders over $49 a lot.*

Here’s the recipe for
“Morning Glory Shake”:
1) 8 oz. of Almond Milk
(no carrageenan)
2) 1 scoop of Pro-Optimal
Whey Protein powder,
chocolate favored (or
another Whey Protein
Isolate powder of your
choosing)
3) 1 Tablespoon of Chia Seeds
4) 1 Tablespoon of Gelatinized
Maca Root Powder
5) 1 scoops of L-Glutamine
powder (approx. 5 grams)
6) 1 Tablespoon of Hydrolyzed
Collagen Powder
(approx. 5 grams)
7) 1 scoop of D-Ribose
powder (approx. 5 grams)
Mix all the ingredients
in a blender – on very low
speed, as the amino acids
in the Pro-Optimal Whey
Protein are delicate and
can easily be destroyed
with heat (through high
speed blenders which
create heat), and enjoy.
This “Morning Glory” shake
is just delicious and so
packed with all the
nutrition you need, not
just to start your day off
right, but to help heal your
immune system and colon.
Morning Glory Shake
What does each ingredient do?
1) Almond milk (without
carrageenan) is important
to give this shake flavor,
density, liquidity, and
taste and form.
2) Whey Protein – contains
proteins, which
are made up of the
many Amino Acids
your body and its
organs require to function.
3) Chia Seeds are
important for the fiber,
the minerals, and the
omega 3’s they provide
your body. If your gut
can’t handle the seeds,
then make Chia Seed
Gel and use 2
Tablespoons of this
Gel in its place.
4) Gelatinized Maca
Root Powder is to
help with fatigue,
depression, loss of
libido ( so many
of us have had as a
result of all those
terrible steroids our
doctors have made us
take), hair loss.

5) L-Glutamine Powder
is important as it has
been shown in studies
“heal the mucosal lining”
of the colon.
6) Hydrolyzed Collagen
Powder is a well
known “gut Healer”,
but in addition helps
with skin, hair, nails,
and more importantly
joint pains as well.

7) D-Ribose Powder
is a type of sugar that
all the cells of our bodies
need to produce their
energy, through a
molecule called ATP.
“…ATP is adenosine triphosphate.
Healthy, active cells constantly
replenish their supply of ATP to
produce vital cellular energy.
However, under conditions of stress,
injury, or aging, [or diseases such
as Auto-Immune Diseases],
critical body tissues such as
heart and skeletal muscles
cannot produce ATP quickly
enough to perform optimally.
D-ribose, a carbohydrate molecule
found in every living organism,
facilitates the production of ATP.
In studies of healthy athletes as
well as those who have suffered
injury to the heart muscle,
supplying fatigued muscle
cells with D-ribose quickly
restored ATP levels to normal.
By helping to rapidly refill depleted
energy stores, D-ribose may be
especially beneficial for people
coping with cardiac and other
problems marked by impaired
cellular energy production.
D-Ribose Tablets and D-Ribose
Powder can help speed energy
recovery, increase energy
reserves and maintain healthy
energy levels in heart and
muscle tissue.”

Here’s another note of importance
on the Morning Glory Shake,
1) you can add other vitamins to
it as well, personally I add
10,000 I.U. of liquid Vitamin D3
2) the Morning Glory Shake is
perfect for Bowel Rest
3) if you’re struggling to add
weight, you can add
a) 1/2 an avocado OR
b) 1/4 Cup of Almond Butter to your shake
4) mix it up a bit… experiment
